Helen Monro - Reproduction Sampler Pattern by Whilst Iris NapsHelen Monro is a reproduction of an original sampler in our collection from Falkirk, Scotland. The pattern is 232 x 287 stitches and is mostly full crosses over 2 but also includes four sided stitch, eyelets and backstitch. It would be suitable for stitching on either linen or Aida as there is no over 1. Our model is stitched using 1 strand of floss on 36ct 'Dolley Madison' from Needle & Flax Linens. We have used Au Ver Soie silks (Soie d'Alger) for
